How to Pull RFQs From National Treasury

The Live RFQ Feed is a powerful discovery engine that automatically scouts the National Treasury and other state-owned entity feeds to find relevant opportunities for your business.

1. Accessing the Feed

Navigate to the Tools menu in the top navigation bar and select Live RFQ Feed. This opens your intelligence dashboard.

2. Training Your Discovery Engine

To ensure you only see relevant tenders, you must configure your Discovery Profile (located in the right-hand sidebar):

  • Keywords: Enter terms related to your industry (e.g., 'Solar', 'Cisco', 'Security Services'). The engine matches these against the title and scope of work.
  • Regional Filtering: Enter specific municipalities or provinces (e.g., 'City of Joburg') to narrow down geographic results.
  • Alerts: Toggle 'Enable Email Alerts' to receive instant notifications when a matching RFQ is discovered.

3. Browsing & Scouting

The Live Tender Alerts table displays the latest discovered opportunities. Each entry provides:

  • Opportunity Depth: View the full title and buyer name.
  • Treasury Documents: Click View Treasury Documents to open official PDFs and RFQ specifications directly.
  • Deep Pulse Sync: If you need to find historical tenders, use the Sync tool below the profile to run a manual scout of a specific date window.

4. Importing to Your Workspace

When you find a relevant opportunity, click the Import button. This instantly creates a new Tender Case in your active registry, syncs all Treasury documents to the case workspace, and notifies your team in the chat.

5. The Intelligence Watchlist

If you decide to bid on an RFQ, click the icon to add it to your Watchlist. The system will monitor the National Treasury feed for the final award result, alerting you the moment the winner is announced so you can analyze the price variance.

Pro Tip: Use specific niche keywords like 'supply of hardware' rather than just 'hardware' to increase the accuracy of your feed.
